25. I am not sure it is specifically, but it clearly shows a breakdown
in the logic of the libertarian party. I remember when he was questioned about it and his response was "did you ever think... accidents happen?". In short, he was backed into a logical corner that he could not escape from using arguments based on his ideology, so he had to punt. Maybe mine safety is not a direct issue (who knows, maybe it is), but I think that his philosophy is very telling and just does not pass the BS test.

35. There are MANY coal mines in eastern Kentucky.
The mining industry employs alot of KY people in that part of the state. The issue of mine safety is VERY important to those folks and has always been an important issue to them, but now especially so since the disaster in WV that killed 20 men.

14. Democrat Patriot, you just hit it right out of the ball park.

Unfortunately, the party will NOT run this nationally. They are too busy keeping everything local. If the average person in the US understood what was going on around the country and not just in their little neck of the woods they would be shocked. But our party refuses to tell them for some reason.

All over the country it's the GOP stomp.

But ooooooooh! Nobody's supposed to know.

In the midst of political plenty our party is starving to death.

This is what is called a political opportunity. If the shoe were on the other foot and we did this crap to them, they would be all over this all over the country. They would NATIONALIZE this incident and blame our whole party for it.

But not us. So we are looking at the loss of the House this Tuesday only because we are quiet as mice.

19. What a bunch of dirtbags!
I can't believe that dirtbag hillbilly deliverance wannabes are actually proud that it took up to 4 pieces of trash to beat down a woman who didn't even resist. That backward nutjob Paul saw what was going on; he looked right at the scene when he got out of the SUV! These inbred rednecks are really Klassy....and yes its with a K! I really have to question the sense of people who think its okay to beat a woman because they don't like the fact she's brave enough to make her opinion known. Hope the bastard loses big time...and I hope its the women that stick it to him.

Joe Miller's bad publicity seems to be working up in Alaska. It would be great to see Paul's numbers drop over the next few days.

29. I like the ad, but one thing about it makes me crazy.
It's not a 23% sales tax, it's a 30% sales tax. If the tax is enacted, and you go to the store and buy a coke or a bottle of MD 2020 that's priced at 1.00, the total, tax included, would be $1.30 (assuming there's no local or state sales tax.) And that's called a 30% sales tax in my book. That's the way the public understands traditional sales taxes and that's what they're pushing this as. It's a 30% tax.

32. even with the 23 percent level ... think of it this way ...
that $15,995 Volkswagen in the advertisement?

His tax plan would make it $19,673.85 ...

Was it someone with the woman or a supporter? I'm guessing it was the former, but trying to be fair to a bunch of unfair, and sometimes criminal, knuckledraggers.
