2. It's sad how Fineman pushes and pushes the "both sides do it" meme. |
|
These evil, Nazi-esque political acts are 100% from the hard right. "Both sides" do not head-stomp protesters and handcuff reporters. Only republicans do this. There is no symmetry. Matthews has it right for once, and Fineman is full of crap here.

3. i want to see all these rogue left wing dems who are physically assaulting people. |
|
and don't say code pink either which is the first thing you hear. they shout and wave signs but have they physically attacked anyone? if the left wing dems were doing this i would have seen it all over the news. so that is bullshit. but even if it was 'both sides' which is bs, that doesn't make it any more right then when my kid says but suzy did it too.

4. Even when he said "look at |

history," he had to go back to the 1930s - and got it wrong.

7. When Bill Maher and Lawrence O'Donnell tried to explain |
|
Edited on Sat Oct-30-10 11:54 AM by tblue37
on his show last night that such violence (and also the nuttiness and the stupidity) is a Right Wing tactic, not a Left Wing one, Maher allowed his two loud, loud, loud Republican guests to shout him and O'DoOnnell down.
That is one of the things I hate about his show--he has on the Right Wingers, and one of the RW's tactic is to just shout so loudly the other side cannot even be heard--both literally and metaphorically.
I know this happens on ALL shows, but Maher and O'Donnell are not shrinking violets, so why do they let those loudmouths shout over them without insisting on their right to have their point heard? I wish the people on our side wouldn't just let themselves be shouted down like that. Our side's point never gets heard. In fact, I think Maher should do a segment in which he points out that in addition to violence, nuttiness, and stupidity, the uncivil tactic of shouting over opposing viewpoints is also a strictly Right Wing tactic that makes it impossible for the Left to get its points heard.
