Taken this morning, Jerry is sweeping through the central valley today, next stop was Merced, where another great DUer took pics.

Please excuse the shaky video, I was using a Flip camera held high as I could reach.

Still, his words and message are worth hearing.

Like, "So, I know where all the bodies are buried up there in Sacramento." :P

I am a "permanent vote by mail" voter and have already mailed in my ballot. My friends on DU already know from the number of Whitman posts I've made that I am SO LOOKING FORWARD to Jerry wiping the floor with Queen Meg that I can;t even put it into words.

Hoping for the one-two punch of Whitman AND Fiorina hitting the deck.

8. I was there too!

Hey!

We got there at 5am and hung out and watched the set-up (since there was nothing else better to do). Got front row seats and an excellent video. Got Jerry's autograph too :toast: I really liked the way he stayed on point, stayed away from bashing the opponent ("you've all watched the commercials") and his plans to invigorate the state, especially here in the very depressed central valley. I cannot vote yet (will be naturalized by early next year) but my kids can and my son got to thank Jerry personally and tell him that he's got his vote! I think he will win over MEGabucks. I have hope for this country yet that money can't buy a seat in the gov't - F-U Citizens United!!!

I was there on and off, but wandered around a bit, too, and ran home twice for a folding table and gaffers tape.

5:00 am? You beat me, but you might have seen me taking my walk around the park at 6 am, nobody else was walking.

Hey!

Yeah got a t-shirt from your table, several bumperstickers, buttons from the aids up in front, and campaign signs. My husband was the black guy with the cane asking about the audio hook-up and taking notes about it. We walked around a bit at 5, then went to Safeway for munchies, ate those then started wandering about when the crew started setting up. We probably saw each other there :)

Sure!!!

Right now I am one of the moderators of group that Mr. Brown's campaign might be interested in - seeing as how he touched on it during his speech - a facebook group called "Citizens United Against Citizens United (CUACU)" I am presently not a US Citizen (long story) but will hopefully be early next year, but I am as politically active as the law allows me to be. I would gladly be a part of the group as we represent the impoverished (living in housing and Food Stamps) and I see lots of apathy in this particular group. Would like to be a part of changing that.
