5. Ya think you could put

a warning on this stupid video, since people are getting their throats slashed. The movie was rated "R" for a reason.

I personally HATED this movie and it's neo-con fantasies about FREEDOM! FOREVER! at the cost of innocent lives, the destruction of property and a country's infrastructure and history.

I have NO idea why we on the left are supposed to love this movie. The violence, vengeance and overall cruelty of it's smug, smirking heartless "anti-hero" reminds me too much of Bush. His clueless belief that if you blow up enough things you'll "shock and awe" people into freedom. "V" represents every sick thing I hate about this administration (and Hollywood.) His belief in "disappearing" people (Evey), torture (Evey again) and his sick belief that vengeance and vendettas will stop with him.

Violence begets violence, no matter how self-righteous the perpetrator.


I hated the Matrix movies too.
