Hannity Says Bin Laden Sounds Like Democrats - Twice

Reported by Ellen - September 8, 2007 - 195 comments

Perhaps at a loss as to how to spin the new video of Osama Bin Laden in favor of President Bush, Sean Hannity decided he’d use it to attack his fellow Americans. The self-styled “Great American” proved just what kind of patriot and freedom lover he truly is by twice likening Democrats to Osama Bin Laden. Is there any partisanship more despicable? Take action! With video. Updated with advertiser and political contact information.

In the first part of a two-part discussion, the sole guest was Bush’s former Chief of Staff, Andrew Card. At about 3 minutes into the discussion, Hannity said, “(Bin Laden) seemed to adopt the very same language that is being used by the hard left in this country as he describes what’s going on in Iraq as a civil war, he actually used the term ‘neocons,’ he talks about global warming, he demonizes capitalism and corporations in this whole thing - very, very specific language...”

1. Nice
"(Bush) is not concerned with Osama Bin Laden." - Andrew Card.

Can't imagine why Bush would be concerned with the person who masterminded the 9/11 attacks. /sarcasm

What unbelievable idiots they are.

3. K&R The idiots pay attention to Bin Laden while ignoring the generals in Iraq
:grr: I hate how we are being played! In response to a reporter's question, President Bush says that he is "truly not that concerned" with catching the man who murdered 3,000 Americans just six months and two days earlier because "we've marginalized him."

Republican President Dwight D. Eisenhower exit speech on Jan.17,1961.
Warning us of the military industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist. "On President Kennedy's desk on Nov.22 1963 was the presidential order to draw down our forces in South Vietnam. He never got to sign that order and Johnson's first act as president was to tear up that order.
That my friends is historical fact."

"We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted. 4. What a douchebag.
Just a total douche. There is nothing redeemable about this jerk.

He cares more about his shitty propaganda against the Democrats than he does about the war or the troops or anyone else. If he gave a shit, he would tell the truth.

Then again, if he had to tell the truth, smoke would start coming out of his ears, and he would explode.

11. I don't want to fight a CONCEPT for generations
Are we going to end up in a pointless war for hundreds of years because someone feels it's their responsibility to police the world?
How many Americans are we going to kill to fight unspecified terrors? We cannot win a war against "EVIL".

Cripes. Do they love failure or are they just that delusional?

13. certainly more than he has now
It's stuff like this that makes me very happy that my cable provider (which has three channels of porn as part of the subscription LOL) which has 4+ news channels (BBC, CNN-world, European news, and another one + German) does NOT include fixed noise! (props to KO for that name).

10. Bush has more in common...
Edited on Sun Sep-09-07 09:19 AM by BeliQueen
According to Andrew Card, Bush has more in common with Bin Laden than the left does:

They both ramble. They both have a warped sense of responsibility for the people they claim to love and lead (when in actuality Bush swore an oath to defend and protect the Constitution--not the people of the United States). They both send young, innocent men and women into situations where they could die. And they both don't believe that people have the right to govern themselves (i.e. the statement Bush made that it would be easier if this nation were a dictatorship, and his acknowledgment of the coup against Chavez, etc.)

For a second there Card stumbles because he finally realizes that he could have been describing his former boss.

12. hannity's description of the "language" of the "hard left"
is accurate.

"<he's using> the very same language that is being used by the hard left in this country as he describes what’s going on in Iraq as a civil war, he actually used the term ‘neocons,’ he talks about global warming, he demonizes capitalism and corporations in this whole thing - very, very specific language...”

The difference is that since hannity couldn't recognize truth or facts if they ran up on the street and bit him on the ass, he's acting as if the "hard left" is wrong. What a tool.

andy card: "Protect the United States and OUR INTERESTS"... He's got that right, to protect the interests of the right-wing, the corporate capitalist masters -- not the interests of those of us who believe in democracy, civil rights, adherence to the Constitution or real freedom for ALL people.

Nice to see Colmes showing some cajones...smells republican blood in the water?
