During a moment of extreme candor that was picked up by a hot microphone, Sen. Michael Bennet (D-Colo.) on Tuesday was heard voicing his displeasure with Democratic plans for the lame-duck session of Congress.

"It's all rigged," Bennet said to a colleague-- possibly Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) -- on the Senate floor. "I mean, the whole conversation's rigged. The fact that we don't get a discussion before the break about what we're going to do in the lame duck -- it's just rigged. This stuff's rigged."

Asked for comment, Bennet's staff told NBC: "Michael was telling the same truths on the Senate floor that he tells folks back home in Colorado."

Bennet aide Adam Bozzi also told NBC: "We can't move forward on major issues facing our country because of a broken system that is rigged to prevent progress. <...> Colorado and the rest of our country deserve better which is why he has proposed overhauling the way Washington works, including filibuster and lobbying reforms."

Dudeman narrowly won against a Tea Partier only to come to try to fight for the people and realize the game is rigged.

10. This is what I've been saying ... a farce

It's actually becoming comical to me to hear talking heads, commentators, NPR hosts, taking this SHIT - the American political process - seriously. There's no there, there. I'm completely cynical about. Bring on Palin, at least it will be entertaining. And that's what it's ultimately about: where fantasy is reality, reality is a show on TV, the guy behind the curtain is a semblance of god the eternal, and 14 year old adolescent sensibilities reign (apologies to all the 14 year olds...).
