It is hard to watch them, Republicans like this weasel, gloating over what they view as the weakness of the Democratic Party. I used to be able to fight back and even win sometimes, against rightwingers when they attacked Democrats. It's very hard to forgive them for making us look like fools.

To have to say that this creep, Dick Morris, is right is beyond painful. This is how bad it is though. I hoped to see people like Morris crying for the next eight years. But at least for the next two, I doubt he'll have any reason to cry.

And if this president thinks that they will ever see his compromises as anything but weak, then he is hopelessly naive.

Dick Morris Calls Obama Tax Cut Deal “A Surrender”

While President Obama called his compromise to extend the Bush tax cuts a “bipartisan agreement,” it was no surprise that Dick Morris took to the Hannity airwaves and called it “a surrender.” Just as predictably, Morris licked his lips over the future implications.

Morris didn’t bother to hide his glee.

To characterize this as a deal is like that famous deal that Emperor Hirohito struck with MacArthur on the battleship Missouri. This is a surrender. This is absolutely Obama caving in. And the Republicans had to extend unemployment benefits anyway because you’re not gonna give a tax cut and at the same time cut off unemployment benefits. But this shows that Obama will blink.

Democrats are supposedly furious and it's not a done deal yet, and I hear Bernie Sanders is going to try to filibuster. That man knows how to fight. I don't care if he loses at this point. It would just be so great to see someone put up a fight for a change. The way we fought for them.

1. Keep to the narrative. Please note that the Republicans didn't "surrender" on unemployment benefits
They merely released the hostages

2. Yes, funny that. They always use the language of victory, because
the Democratic leadership leads the party into a corner every time under this president. It's almost as if he enjoys losing.

I hope Congressional Democrats are actually as angry as is being reported and that they do everything they can to stop this deal.

3. Dick Morris is wrong.
It's more than surrender, it's collaboration.

6. You are both wrong.
We need a Congress that has guts to jam a finger up McConnell's ass and tell him you ar going to rip his testicles off and remove them thru his mouth if he don;t get a clue who is in charge.
We should insist the Crybaby Boner is arrested un Bush's Patriot Act for Treason.

5. Dick Morris ... "Yes.. we have the votes to stop Obamacare".....
...when referring to the republicans, he says "We". So Dick Morris admits he is a Republican (and a former Clinton Adviser).

Now we know how the country got into this mess. Republicans will destroy the earth and everything on it.

10. Yes, he is the lowest of the low. And when Democrats
won a majority in the House and the WH, it was a slap in the face to people like him. And he is a perfect example of why there should never have been any attempt to cooperate with the party he represents.

No matter how much bi-partisanship there is he and his ilk will never view it the way the president seems to hope it will be viewed. They will always see it as weakness. And the rest of us have to endure watching people like him gloat over it.

9. Blue Dogs
are the bane of the Democratic Party. When the Republicans threaten to shut the government down again, Obama will cave again. Everyone knows the script by now.
