Remember that http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=389&topic_id=9631943">kettling incident last week or two in London. That's where the students were protesting, with thousands of teenagers from all over London walking out of lessons and marching spontaneously on Westminster to voice their anger at government cuts to education funding which will prevent thousands from attending college and university.

They were "kettled" and, afterwards, characterized as scoundrels and vandals by the police and media. From the link: "kettling is a tactic used by cops in large protests when they do NOT want to disperse the protest or end it peacefully. They cordon in the protesters, cut off all routes of escape, crack skulls of anyone: protester, bystander, little old lady, who tries to leave. They leave everyone inside the kettle stewing for long hours, crowding them in, agitating them with baton charges, the occasional barrage of pepper spray or tear gas, conflicting orders from megaphones."

Well, those students were not discouraged, as this 15-year old explains rather passionately.

1. What's really funny
is they are rioting everywhere and all of the Governments where unrest is taking place keep acting as if nothing is going on. Wait until its America's turn. And it coming unless we think of a different way to get our way.

13.  "they knew we weren't a danger"

"they wanted to scare us from ever demonstrating again" !!! kids in the uk see what so many adults are blind to in the usa, the real reason for kettling.... i personally hope to see demonstrations and rioting all over the world until the banks, multinationals, and the corrupt politicians are all brought down... i can dream cant i???

18. Mature beyond his mere 15 years! So well-spoken.
I would like to know more about him. Is he already a leader in his school?

Is there somewhere I can go to find out?
