4. He didn't seem risk averse during the campaign. |
|
If you run for president, the most likely outcome is that you're going to get the crap beaten out of you, and then you're going to lose. Obama had to know that when he started, and he handled it with unflappability.

7. However you look at it |
|
He's been terrible for the left.
He's doing more to single handidly destroy the party than any Republican ever has.
And I'm not so sure I'd say he's only 30 percent complicit. His actions(catfood commission, burying the public option and lying about it, giveaways to the drug companies, enthusiasm for war,and on and on)suggest otherwise.
He does not govern as a Democrat should govern.
And his shyness about fighting? That doesn't seem to be a problem when he's fighting the left. Heck, he'll go to Kucinich's district and put the heat on--no problem--while ripping the AFL-CIO a new one for daring to go for Blanche Lincoln's primary opponent.
He doesn't even seem to want any help from the left for left leaning issues. He wants the opposite.
Complicit?
Oh-yeah.

9. I wish I could believe he is only 'weak'. |
|
I can't believe anyone would be weak enough to appoint a deficit commission that HE KNEW would bolster right wing talking points about the nature and causes of the deficit. That isn't weakness, that is premeditation.
