Republicans have been trying for decades to convince everyone that FDR's "New Deal" was a failure
and that it took World War II to pull us out of the Great Depression. But Hollywood spending at
the time proves otherwise.

3. It's a Wonderful Life
was my Late son's favorite movie...We watched it as a family every xmas...He only had 25 Christmases on this earth. So many people told me he was an angel....I believe it.

In a way he was very much like Potter in the movie. My handsome blue eyed, blond 6 foot tall son.

He was definitely a progressive. He felt such compassion for the homeless and loved kids.

5. George, not Potter.
Henry Potter is the fat old bald villain.

I think you mean George Bailey. :)

Sorry for your loss.

9. It's A Wonderful Life
was also my late partner's favorite movie and we watched it every Christmas also. He only had 49 Christmases and was also a progressive obtaining a master's degree in Social Work so he could help the homeless. Your son no doubt was a wonderful person.

4. Facts won't stop them from re writing history
Last week the Neut was on the TV saying that FDR's policies CAUSED the great depression....corse no one challenged him on it.

8. Timeline
I hear that often too.

The recognized "height" of the Depression was 1932-1933. FDR wasn't inaugurated until March of 1933 (FDR later changed Inauguration day to January.)
