2. Good job under awful circumstances
Her own party gave her fits at times.

3. Thank you very much for sharing that piece..
as an ex-Michigander whenever I hear news of Michigan it all seems so dire. Many good things have happened thanks to the governor, not always reported by the media. This piece highlighted a great career. Good luck to her in her future endeavors. A U.S Supreme court nomination would be a great next job!

5. Granholm has been a wonderful governor under terrible circumstances.
I for one will really miss her. We'll see what Snyder brings, and what he becomes. So far, he actually seems "normal" for a Republican, at least, not a wingnut. We'll see if that can last. The teabaggers actually kind of hate him, so I have some hope.

6. Unlike some we know, she didn't quit, she didn't shoot a moose or try to dance with a grizzley.
She worked the job she was given. No scandals, no graff, no wasted effort. She supported education and educators without name calling, all citizens without resorting to negativity, she did not call out the legal unions that people belong to and she has done without the promotion of a reality show.

THAT'S what happens when someone is elected who is qualified for the job.
