1. I'm getting sick of this contrived "controversy". |
|
Silverman is trying to argue it seriously, but he's just there as a prop for Meghan and Bill to make fun of. Stupid.

3. THE WAR ON CHRISTMAS!!! |
|
Edited on Wed Dec-22-10 02:39 AM by AsahinaKimi
I guess nothing important is going on in the world, for example the Bush Tax breaks are not important, even though some people are spending their "Christmas" in a homeless shelter. Its not important that many in the Military are spending their "Christmas" in Afghanistan, or on the border in North Korea. :sarcasm:
Fox News is not News, its Right Wing opinionated crap.

being raided nationwide. We are in two unnecessary wars. The economy is in the toilet. But, oh my, Christmas is under attack!
Yes Fox news is garbage. They aren't even fit to discuss their own manufactured controversy.

6. Silverman is right. Work and public environment should be neutral. |
|
If a worker wants to have a small thing, like a nativity set or whatever...fine. But the entire building itself shouldn't have any sort of display like that.

is quite probably the biggest asshole in the universe. At least he's on the losing end of his battle, atheism is on the rise, and Christmas is a secular holiday already.
As far as being uncomfortable with Xmas trees, they were a solstice tradition, and the solar calendar is pretty neutral, so it doesn't really bother me one way or another, I'm an atheist and I'm not uncomfortable around Christmas trees, in fact they were pretty darn necessary when I had a retail store. I even have a tree right now, it looks nice and I see Christmas as a secular holiday these days. A nice excuse for a couple of extra days that I can spend with family.
