1. Paul Krugman and Rachel Maddow= blinding candlepower |
|
Those two together on one podium have a higher aggregate IQ than that of the whole Republican caucus in the House of Representatives.

5. Too short but I'm glad he mentioned the insanity of modern Republicans. |
|
And that's why I am so disheartened.
Their obstructionism was so destructive to our whole country. They haven't put "Country First" they've put "Party First" in very destructive ways.
All of my Democrats should have been calling them out from the very beginning for crashing our economy, not pretending there was any basis for bipartisanship, weakening what we know works to compromise with idiots who totally failed.
But my Democrats let them gain too much control of the mass media the last time we were in power and they've built that into a powerhouse of lies promoting the failed policies of Supply Side Economics.
I thought my practical pragmatic president would explain that their way failed but in the meantime, many of the Democratic team had been compromised and didn't push forward as a block to work on Democratic Demand Side Economics.
We could have done that more but we didn't. I wish Rachel had written in more time with some of the speakers like Krugman, and asked him more about how modern Republican objections to Demand Side Economics differed from those in the past. And how they used to have an ounce of compassion, whereas now they have been excused in the mass media for extraordinary cruelty that also damages our economy. They should have been called out on every news program for that.

6. I am not even sure it is party first - more like corporate controlled government first. |
