Geno Auriemma is the coach of the UCONNs WOMENS's basketball team. They won 89 games in a row. Breaking the record set by the UCLA MEN. Many have downplayed the record because people are mad that women broke a men's record. I am a man and I say bravo to these women. This winning streak spans more than two years. You would think in a game like basketball that no matter how good some team is that one team might trip them up in a two year span they did not. These girls are really fucking good.

Ah, there was a women's college bball team that won 131 straight in the 1950's, but since the NCAA didn't sponsor women's basketball back then it's not an NCAA record :-)
