whole darn thing to see his negative comment about Palin. I can save people alot of time he says "She can't stand on the same stage, intellectually with Obama".

5. You made me watch the whole darn thing |
|
My reaction to the headline was "Well, that's not difficult!"
and then I saw it was over 4 minutes of Fox News, so I didn't want to watch it.
Thanks for the warning and the summery!

11. Given Palin's appeal it would be wise to stop her. |
|
She can really get a crowd riled up and lots of men like her cause she's "the cheater with the heater."
I think the biggest problem is actually Palin and her aggressiveness outweighs her stupidity with sassy lines like, "How's that hopey changey thing workin out for ya?" That's better than being lackluster. She would be terrific for the GOP as the smear-meister in chief and she won't mind saying anything. Her lack of brain can be solved by having good advisors. Running against a lackluster is better than running against Palin. People in this country don't care about brains and Palin fits right in.
I think Palin is a danger and we on the left are always assuming people are as smart as we are. They're not. I think Palin is the biggest threat the GOP has and I think we should be thinking how to stop her from getting the GOP nomination instead of gloating over the idea that she would be great to run against.

12. Another question is who we nominate on the Democratic side. |
|
Another video on DU today reports rumors Hillary is quitting and that one possible explanation is that she may run against Obama. I doubt it's true, and even if she resigns it might have to do with Wikileaks more than anything. If she ran against Obama it would be a bloodbath between them and the GOP would pick up the White House in the process. Al Gore could step in to rescue things but all signs are he'd never run. He's through with presidential politics and his daughter was right in 2008 when she said he wouldn't run. She said he would NEVER run for president again. Also, Gore's marriage went bad. So it looks like Obama as the nom.

6. So Williams may be a bit of a shill (required for employment by Fux News) . . . |
|

But his comments were uncharacteristically cogent.
And the closing comment that Palin can't stand on the intellectual stage with Obama -- did you notice the reaction of the panelbots around him? Williams hulled her below the waterline -- and every sentient Republican knows it.

7. I'm still not sure if Palin is running. There's also some doubt about Huckabee. It wouldn't surprise |
|
me if one of them ran, while the other sat it out.
And I disagree with what Williams said about Mike Pence. I actually think that he may well be the Republican nominee in 2012.

10. Williams is just another obscure so-called liberal that Faux News breaks out on rare occasions... |
|
...to show proof of balance. When in reality the network is about as balanced as putting and elephant and a mouse on a weight scale.
