The political/industrial operators behind the GOP machine are the ones who invent the lies and distortions with which they agitate the fearful and appeal to their most reactionary emotions. These operators are cynical, manipulative, vicious, and completely amoral, and their goal is always the same: to consolidate their own power and profit.

Our best weapons against them are courage, persistence, and the TRUTH. At the same time, we need to develop a more measured and reassuring approach to their fearful/belligerent minions, getting them to a place where they are more accepting of new information.
