1. corporations dont pay taxes

I'm glad Cenk is talking about this because it is truly absurd that corporations do not pay income taxes - they actually receive money from the US government. According to the US treasury, corporations are even receiving more money in fiscal year 2011 than in 2010. In November alone, corporations paid -3.1 billion, whereas last November they paid -2.1 billion ( http://www.fms.treas.gov/mts/mts1110.pdf ). At the same time, individual income taxes have soared - $19 billion more in November 2011 than in November 2010. To top it off, corporate profits reached an all time high in the 3rd quarter.

Let's get this straight, not only are corporations receiving more money from the government in fiscal year 2011, but they are also making more profit than ever before, yet individuals are paying more taxes. Think I'making this up ...I was brought up in the south and was a fundie until I went to college.Many many fundamentalists baptists methodists etc. are an arm of the republican party. The playbook has taken the place of righteous exhortation. I personally think they are getting kick backs. The old timey christians are leaving . The younger generation isn't buying it. It will die. Think there will be a new scam?

4. The corporations may be amoral and soulless but they

still get a vote like an actual person, compliments of the equally amoral and soulless Supreme Court.

6. Wake up Cenk. You live in the Corporate States of America

They just haven't changed the name of the country. Wealthy and corporate interests rule America. Their lobbyists control congress. Both sides of congress. America bails out corporations who were left holding the bag in their hot-potatoe mortgage scheme. Forty percent of the poorest Americans control only 3/10 of 1 percent of America's wealth. Our war machine outspends the rest of the planet on it's military budget while our educational system rots as one of the worst on the planet. Mega corporations pay less taxes than a dishwasher making minimum wage. We've become a country of the corporation, by the corporation and for the corporation. It's just a matter of time before enough Americans get outraged enough to begin CLASS WARFARE. The wealthy interests control the media that keeps our people ignorant of the rape and pillage taking place daily by corporations.
Right from the Declaration of Independence: Whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these rights (life, liberty and pursuit of happiness), it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it and to institute new government laying it's foundations on such principles as, to them, shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness.

7. I'm sick of this "That doesn't make the big corporations amoral", crap. They are run by people, not

computers making decisions. If you choose to buy a politician to not tax you knowing someone else will have to pay in your place, that is an amoral decision.
