2. Does the first amendment protect a website that posts your social security number and bank account? |

Is there any limit to first amendment protection and should there be? Is it ok to post security info in advance of a presidential visit?

It's the responsibility of the keepers of the information to keep it a secret. The people who STOLE the bank information should be dealt with by the justice system ofcourse.
A lot of people aren't able to distinguish between the moral and judicial.
Morally, i find it infinately more immoral to post peoples bank details online, than to publicise documents that confirms almost every accusation that has been thrown against the US government in the past 10 years, in everything from lying about wars, to the US intelligence services and Department of State working as an ally of American corporations like Monsanto, to spying on the citizens of NATO allies.
The first amendment question apply more to the New York Times and American media outlets anyway. Some people seem to have problems understanding that American law does not apply world wide, even if that is the wet dream of any neocon. Which is why some want to have Assange tried for treason despite him not being an American citizen, and not commiting any crimes against the US Government (he did not steal the information). Wikileaks aren't even an American organization.
