1. Besides its only a symptom of the break down of the family structure
and not caused by what we say.

2. We can see that the right-wingers are so dependent on their
hate speech rhetoric -- for fundraising, for getting time on TV debates, for exciting their angry followers, that they cannot even admit how dangerous it is.

We are in a real mess. This makes me wonder whether it is, possibly, really too late to prevent a right-wing takeover in the country.

The last speaker is the only one who understands what needs to be done.

And I agree with the kind remarks made with regard to John McCain who made a meaningful statement to the Republican base and all of us in the aftermath of the shootings.

3. "Just don't talk about it" - yeah, that will make the problem go away.

4. There is no equivalency here.
Incitement to political violence is tactic of the right and is accelerating. Talk about deranged individuals and no direct connections between the far right and acts of violence are merely attempts at blame such acts on all of us rather than those responsible.

6. Jesse Kelly
Giffords' Republican opponent in the race, Jesse Kelly, whom she narrowly defeated, held a campaign event in which he invited supporters to shoot a machine gun. “Get on target for victory,” an ad for the event read. “Help remove Gabrielle Giffords from office. Shoot a fully a automatic M16 with Jesse Kelly,” the ad continued.
