Right-wing media downplayed violent threats to Democrats.

1. She hopes they stay angry....

Yes, Tea baggers and Republicans will RAMP UP the violence, and they THINK THIS GIVES THEM Carte blanche to start more shooting, throwing bricks through windows, and send more package bombs, and letters with white powder inside.

What they have forgotten is some people will shoot back, especially POLICE and the FBI.


While we agree the violence has to stop, they won't. They want to push the envelope... In some countries this behavior has lead to far more bloodshed.

The way these people talk to their audience. Or I guess what bothers me is that there is an audience that doesn't question these narratives

5. The reich wing will not back off.

It will not reflect. It will not admit error. It will never apologize. It will only attack. It will deceive, subvert and terrorize. That's what it does. That's all it can do. It must aggressively and violently assert its paradigm because its arguments cannot withstand rational discourse or democratic governance. It is always and only about power and the perversion of power. It always has been. It always will be. It is evil. Period. And if we know what's good for us, we had better stop arguing with it and start fighting it for real.
