I just got an email from a rightwing relative, and they are all emailing this link below to each other back-and-forth saying Loughner is a "Leftwing Pothead". They took one sentence, somebody who said he knew him 3 or 4 years ago and "maybe thinks he was leftwing". But they disregard the whole anti-federal government thing. That was also the central theme for the other Rightwing terrorist Timothy McVeigh.

Nothing glaring about her own political beliefs, but she seems to be conservative. So if Loughner is crazy, then he MUST be liberal.

He seemed politically mixed up to me. I'm not sure I'd call him right wing. But I do believe he was susceptible to suggestions of violence.
