3. Guns Kill?

So, some lunatic decides to shoot up a bunch of people. Does that mean we are to abolish the 2nd Amendment? A gun that holds 10 bullets is ok, one that holds 30 is not? Where does the ban end? The 2nd Amendment is there to protect ourselves from a tyrannical government which I might add we should be more concerned of than which guns to ban. If you believe the ridiculous story that 19 men with box-cutters killed over 3,000 people on 9/11, maybe we should ban those too! A bottle of hairspray and a lighter can cause some serious damage too! Just how far do we sacrifice freedom for safety? We have no problem sending our troops in harms way for the sole purpose of greed and power but lets focus on this one incident instead. Sure, what happened is tragic but before we just throw the US Constitution into the trash can, lets use a little logic shall we?

5. It's not "one incident." It's murder after murder after murder after murder . . .

All with guns. Sure, there's a million ways to kill someone, but for sheer availability and reliability, it's hard to beat a gun.

Gun enthusiasts eternally argue that because you can also kill someone with a rock, that means that rocks and guns are equally deadly. Words don't exist to describe what utter bullshit that is. I don't care what the rest of your political beliefs are, if you believe that, then you're dangerous to be around.

And if you think citizens owning handguns and hunting rifles is a meaningful deterrent to a "tyrannical government" with M4s and Blackhawk helicopters, then you've been reading way too many comic books.
