1. The H1B visa program is a low wage gift to corporate ANTI-america.......
there are those, like HRC, that attempt to make it different but these are only blatant lies.

3. Actually, I think American college grads will probably do OK.
It's the more experienced workers that are getting screwed.

My hubby has been a software designer for over twenty years and managed to stay with the same company all that time which is a miracle in itself, since this company is now about 1/3 the size it was when he started working for them. There are new rumors of layoffs, so he has been putting out feelers to different departments in the same company and also to people he knows at other companies. The answers he got back have been unanimous. They are looking for new graduates to fill any openings they have. They will not give him an interview because his salary is too high, even though he is very willing to take a pay cut.

5. Please go back and listen to the video again
300,000 graduates vs. 120,000 openings

7. Didn't listen to the video at all. Just weighing in with a related anecdote.

Maybe I shouldn't have said that new grads will be OK, my point is that these visas are really hurting experienced workers, too.

9. Agreed. This is an attack on ALL AMERICAN workers by our own government.........
and many Presidential candidates on BOTH sides of the aisle. Know your candidates REAL TRUE positions on the issues and vote for change.

6. Good points.
Students as a whole aren't going into the hard tech areas for fear that those jobs "are only going to get out-sourced anyway". That's one generation lost and it's on track for losing the next.

12. Okay, let corporations lower the wages.
Now tell colleges to lower tuition.

Make America's cost of living identical to that of India and 99% the problem is resolved outright.

What a moran.

You have to read the law to know what it says, because the M$M is never going to tell the truth about it.
