Meet Agnes Pomata, a PCCC member, who works at her local library in Charleston, South Carolina. Agnes loves her job, but works in constant pain.

Her Senator Lindsey Graham is demanding we raise the retirement age, but people like Agnes just won't make it any longer.

Graham's spokesman responds:

"Progressive Washington liberal groups like this will never like it, because a challenge to the status quo threatens their self-interest. Senator Graham believes these groups need to get their heads out of the sand and take a dose of reality," Bishop said. "Our country faces future financial ruin if we are not willing to make the tough decisions to ensure our nation lives within its means."

Stephanie Taylor, co-founder of Progressive Change Campaign Committee, said Graham's comments about Social Security show him as out of touch with his constituents.

"This is the same senator who just voted to give huge tax cuts to millionaires," Taylor said. "We hope President Obama will strongly pressure Republicans on this issue during his State of the Union address."

1. Could be more powerful
There are ways of dealing with heavy books that an older person could adjust to and continue to work. But what about the guy that does roofing for a living or the person who has to scrub floors on their hands and knees till they're 70? The ad should have reflected someone who has aged before their time because of their work environment.

2. This is the Republicans Social Security plan
This is the Republicans Social Security plan Work until you drop dead on the job. Too old, Too feeble? Drop Dead in the streets and let nature take its course disposing of your remains.

If you're a blue Collar worker, You're just a drag on the system anyway.
Because if you are you are more likely not to be able to or even reach the age of 70 or 71.
