5. The Senate was the body designed to give the minority considerable power, BUT the filibuster was not

intended to be used like beer in the hands of drunken sailors. They need to REFORM the rule, but not to eliminate it. There needs to be more parameters on it, and if you want to filibuster, you need to run a REAL filibuster. But don't eliminate it entirely.

3. President Obama won't say he favors cutting social security. He'll just sign the bill that cuts SS

And behind the signs White House aides will work with conservative Democrats and Republicans in Congress to write legislation that will cut social security, Medicare, Medicaid, government jobs and most government social programs to protect the environment, the elderly, the health and welfare of the general population.

President Obama will not veto any of those "cost cutting" bills that cross his desk.

And he won't threaten too.

Cenk rails against the HCR as a corporatist bill that would do nothing but enrich the insurance companies but here on MSNBC hes the HCR protector. So which is it Cenk? Also you can play the same game with the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, just show women (helps when they are cute, young and blond) who would suffer rape and persecution if the US withdrew its army, now to all you guys in favor of withdrawing military from ME, do you guys want those women to be raped? Its easier to see the people that would benefit from this insurance give away than the people that get harmed from it.

Remember folks, think of the big picture, the millions of dollars that would be siphoned off the system to private for profit insurance companies at the same time you look at the lovely lady with auto immune disease.
