1. This skit just OK. The whole show last night was for the most part sex jokes. |
|
The show is now geared toward the You Tube youth. They've lost the folks that loved the humor when SNL was edgy in a political a societal sense. Now it mostly juvenile jokes. Benny Hill would love it. Even the Mubarak bit wasn't edgy.

2. We get it, she had a problem with the charts |
|
SNL still sucks. In this skit, the first time I saw the chart joke, it made me laugh, but then it was the same joke over and over and over again. Okay, I may be no britehorn, but even I could see that this is simply the same joke repeated. These guys write comedy skits for a living? Really? Makes me wonder just how this show actually stays on the air.

It was a pretty good sketch which could have been great if they had done a bit more escalation. Most of the sketch was pretty indistinguishable from Bachman's actual performance.

Miss your commentaries......
I agree that yes, it could have been great. The Michele Bachman's of the world already give them such a great gift by just being themselves. I guess that I would just like to see them take it and run with it.

That was great. She had the mannerisms, body and voice. But the absolute bat shit crazy eyes was missing. That's something only an absolutely insane person can get, so I'll give that skit a 9/10.
As to the rest of the show, what does that have to do with this skit? Also, the Newsbusters tie in was brilliant. A link to the one site that makes Fox News seem like PBS whick in turn links to CNN. Personally, I think CNN should have been C-SPAN but I'm just a putz pecking away at this keyboard.

6. I think Molly Shannon would have done a better job at Bachmann. |
