It's the television age my friend, and there are lots of stupid people out there. This is the same reason Dennis Kucinich will never be President (although his wife may have a shot). It's all about who looks best on TV. Personally I think conservative voters are worse about this- because more of them are stupid and/or intellectually lazy- but I admit I'm not 100% impartial in my opinions...

I think this segment was a "just for fun" commentary based on a Huffington Post poll. And The Young Turks has much more substantive commentary on political issues too and cover a wide range of issues, relevant and gossipy.
