1. She is the voice of reason, I like her SO MUCH more than Randy I don't
understand why Randy has such a fan club here. Whenever I've seen Randy on TV she's been less articulate than Rachel.

Rachel Maddows is a national treasure. I hope KO has her on all the time (she is on quite often) she adds a lot to our side.

2. She now has me questioning whether or not I should support gay rights
I mean if the first admnendment doesn't mean anything to her then why should someone support gay rights. I don't see "Gays" or "Lesbians" in the constitution so I guess she's expendable.
(BTW I do support gay rights its just Rachael is 180 degrees wrong on this issue.)

3. Why didn't they show the rest of the video?

How can anybody possibly judge whether the cops were acting reasonably or unreasonably without seeing what happened leading up to the confrontation?

It appears Kerry was attempting to address Meyer's question in a civilized way. What we cannot see from that video is whether or not Meyer was making a reasonable attempt at dialog within the framework of that setting.

If this were any GOP session, anybody with an opposing voice would not even have been allowed in the room, let alone given an opportunity to question the speaker. It is so sad that this point has been lost on our media that is driven only by reptilian instincts. It is doubly sad that one of the finest news programs followed this same "cover the blood" mentality. I trust when KO returns, he will cut to the important message of this incident.
