Cocktails were at 5, dinner at 6, and speeches at 7pm..
Cars trickled in after 5, 1 or 2 at a time, then just before 6 this group came.. and it was announced shortly after that Gov Walker and Bachmann decided not to come. this was the only entrance into the Golf course. I don't think there was over 20 cars that went to the golf course. Even after it was annouced that Gov Walker was a no show.. the crowed stayed at least 30 more minutes. There was at least 300 people there to protest.

RALLY IN RIVER FALLS: 4:00 PM -- SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 26TH. KILKARNEY HILLS GOLF CLUB. A short rally lining the road entering the Golf Club with vehicles and bodies showing union solidarity. Gov. Scott Walker, Rep. Michele Bachmann, Dean Knudson, John Shiltz, Kitty Rhoades, Sheila Harsdorf, Dan Kapanke, John Murtha, and Supreme Court Judge David Prosser are all invited speakers and/or guests to the annual Lincoln Day Dinner in River Falls. No doubt, they view this tiny retreat as a respite from the loud crowds speaking their minds on the State House grounds in Madison. But this is OUR chance to tell them that union rights are important in every corner of Wisconsin.

1. I hope every upcoming gathering like this is announced and

protestors are able to gather and demonstrate how wrong those people are. Give them something really serious to think about when they consider actions/votes that will harm America's middle class workers's incomes and benefits..

considering that he passed away in Feb 2010.

The 'other' John Murtha was literally an institution in this district, so it was unimaginable that someone else - especially an elected official - would share his name.
