1. Scott Walker is simply not very intelligent. |
|
He just is very simpleminded. That is my take on the whole situation.
He can't understand how money works or who economics works. He just swallows code words whole.
He can't help it. He was elected because Obama played footsie with the bankers, and the country was mad about it. He was elected as payback to Obama.
Obama has no one to blame but himself.
Here in California we were sick of Republicans and Schwarzenegger -- on to their tricks and simplemindedness.
But in other states where people had not yet experienced the borrow, borrow, spend, spend, spend mentality of Republicans, Obama's coziness with bankers caused people to trust the Republican propaganda.
This is very sad.
Obama is right about the fact that big rail and transportation projects in general have always been funded at least to some extent by the federal government.
But Obama's failure to offer an economic philosophy that contrasts with that of the Republicans lends credence to the Republican ideas and even the lies of Republican candidates.
So President Obama has no one but himself to blame for the election of so many Republican governors.

2. they want the "right" kind of jobs |
|
some of those nasty "wrong" kind would have only been temporary construction jobs. You know, like the kind the construction industry depends on. They're called contracts, and they support an awful lot of families. Being governor is also a very temporary job. Walker needs to go. (must remember: name calling does not advance my argument, name calling does not advance my argument)

4. If he "campaigned on it" and they still elected his stinking carcas, then reap what you sow. |

I thought he hated public employees. But he's fair and balanced. He doesn't want ANYBODY to have a job.

7. geeze man, jobs are jobs |
|
I work in the electrical industry as a journeyman electrician. I say jobs are jobs...no matter how sustainable they are. ESPECIALLY, in this day and age when ANY ONE is lucky to have a job or not.
