1. Edwards is always on task progressive...He is real and most don't have a clue...
Yet, so many fine people want or need to criticize John Edwards...the media helps & encourages it...they know who they want as our nominee and they can make it happen wont itll be great for the ratings....Hillary/Obama vs Jebbie/Thompson or Rudy/Rommny doesn't matter just as long as its corporate moderate candidates....

4. Not there yet, but offers so much more....
Edwards healthcare plan eliminates "pre-existing condition" clauses from insurance. This will return much needed coverage to people with HIV, and give them the opportunity to change jobs without losing their insurance. Edwards will change the system so that people with Aids no longer live in fear that they will lose their benefits and will always be able to have their medication. This will make a gigantic difference in many lives. Edwards will press for full rights for civil unions and abolish the Defense of Marriage Act, and he has said the federal government has no right to say that churches and states cannot decide who they will marry. And aren't all of Edwards many issues really important for everyone?

9. It is really good that he wants to help people with AIDS.
But for somebody to suggest he is always right on the progressive issues is stretching it. Of the top tier candidates, I like him most but that doesn't cut it.

5. Edwards is about Opportunity!
When this is his reason for running in the first place, we can rest assured that Edwards will work with a passion to get his issues and programs passed, and passed quickly! I believe Edwards will make a great president.

6. John Edwards is for The People's interest
Sure - Kucinich is too - but I tried it in 2004 and voting conscience won't elect Kucinich. However, John Edwards would be more likely than other candidates to consider Kucinich's ideas.

8. You are right.
I hope that Kucinich supporters will listen to you. Like when Ralph Nader ran for president, Kucinich just does not have a realistic chance to win. Edwards and Kucinich have worked together well in the past. If Edwards is elected, Kucinich will very likely have a good relationship and be an important part of an Edwards admistration. These two men have in common that they care more about the people's interests than about "the game" of politics. I could see them working together in the future to push these issues through.
