Award-winning singer/songwriter Ryan Bingham performed three songs at the anti-Walker rally in Madison in freezing temperatures. The songs were his own "Direction In The Wind", Dylan's "The Times They Are a-Changin'" and a modified version of Woody Guthrie's "This Land Is Your Land".

3. Solidarity Movement

I keep remembering, it was the Solidarity Movement that liberated communist Poland, not the Koch brothers, and NOT Ronald Reagan.

4. Interesting, because some say that when the music/singing stops the movement stops -- !!

Really not literally true, but somewhat true --

Great ideas like freedom, liberty, equality -- unions, feminism -- don't go away --

they keep moving on --

but the music/singing does help everyone to notice what's going on!!
