2. Pretty shocking to consider that

in the immediate aftermath of the summit many of the politicians from Toronto Mayor David Miller (since retired) and Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty etc. were patting the police on the back for the excellent job they had done in policing the summit! If it weren't for the internet, youtube and modern digital camera technology this wanton and unnecessary violence and abusive, bullying behavior inflicted by the cops on innocent protesters, and bystanders would probably be still under wraps.
