If I calculate this correctly...

1,6 EUR/Liter *3,8 to convert to gallon is 6,8EUR/gallon

6,8 EUR with the current exchange rate is 9.45 USD.


During the crisis of 2008 fuel in Europe was more than 11USD per gallon.
