Local Newscasts Slam Reckless Republican Spending Plan

Outside the Beltway, local TV news coverage has not been kind to Republicans' reckless and extreme spending bill. Local reporters from across the country have translated the cuts into real terms for the communities whose economic security, health, and safety would be put at risk by Republicans' irresponsible approach.

2. I don't think the Republicans are Reckless..
I think they are cold, hard and calculating, and don't give a damn about anyone but themselves and the corporations. If a homeless vet was dying and laying in the street, the first person to step on him would be a Rich Republican without remorse.

3. It's mostly been silence for the News in Pittsburgh. A local state health insurance got cut too.

Fifty thousand people lost health insurance and the program had 300,000 on the waiting list. The gave it one sentence in passing.
