2. I have been watching AlJazeera most of the night
and they did cover this very well. I was on CNN for a bit, and grew disgusted with their jumping around to other things, as if an event like this happens everyday. That wave was simply shocking, as it picked up ships and dragged them in shore. The total horror of this is beyond words. Most of the damage seemed to be in Northern Japan, places like Miyagi and Sendai getting the worst of it.

I have relatives in Osaka, and they got tossed around, but came out okay. I don't know if I still have any family left in Miyazaki, but I am sure if so, they would have faired well.

I can not even imagine what the death toll will finally be. I hope Japan will recover soon!

3. Glad to hear your family are OK, AsahinaKimi
My heart goes out to all those who have lost loved ones & are suffering after this terrible disaster, and second you on hoping Japan recovers soon.
