The attacks against African immigrants from Ghana, Somalia, Ethiopia, Chad, Sudan, etc need to be talked about more in the international media. Not only are immigrants being attacked though, but also native black Libyans living in southern Libya in the Fezzan region. This is the ugly side of this revolution and not totally peaceful like Egypt and Tunisia. The revolutionaries are acting in the same manner as the dictator Gaddafi.

1. Disorder is usually ugly
even if it serves a good purpose in the long run.

2. I disagree...racism should never be accepted
If Gaddafi IS using Black mercs against his own people then that's horrible and unacceptable. But it's equally wrong for those fighting for revolution to attack random folk that have no dog in the fight and claim with no evidence that they're henchmen for the dictator. It turns people away from your cause...and that's exactly what's going on. Both sides have shed blood and it's wrong no matter who does it.

3. I never said it was acceptable
merely that it happens.

The good in the long run is the overthrow of a dictator, the disorder is necessary for that. A side product of that disorder is a lot of terrible acts going by unnoticed or unpunished.

4. I understand what you meant...just wish it were more like Egypt and Tunisia
I just have a hard time feeling sympathetic for revolutionaries who target civilians because of the color of their skin.
