I felt awful when I thought of and watched this clip.
Kurosawa was a genius. From this film, Village of the Watermills is a personal favorite.

they make me wonder, and make me smile. Watermills is particularly magical.
Do you like/have you seen Baraka, and/or Koyaanisqatsi? Two others that are essential (for my eclectic tastes, anyway!)

this scene, and the cherry blossom scene, and the "ghost" army in the tunnel...really haunting. I'd buy the DVD if I could find it.
