1. I'd be disappointed if some bubba pastor somewhere DIDN'T claim that
In fact I'm surprised that the REV. pat robertson hasn't farted out words to that effect by now.

5. Wow! Who would want to worship that hateful, vicious, vengeful "GOD"?
So his "god", kills innocent children, in Japan? I suppose his "god" used this form of discipline on 9-11, Katrina, BP Oil disaster et al. Who wouldn't want to worship this evil, "god of discipline"? Every time one of them opens their traps, hate, lies and made up psycho stories come out. I really wish they'd all just shut up and collect their government "entitlements" that no one but them is supposed to get.

7. Well, new agers talk about Goddess being pissed
are you outraged about that too?

If not you may have a double standard going on.

9. 1) Yes. Many of us get pissed at that, too.
2) Most new-agers think the goddess is mad because we've treated the earth badly, whereas most fundies think it's because we haven't treated other people badly enough. That's a significant distinction in my view.

Kidding, god doesn't exist.

11. Joyner is big in the Dominionism and New Apostolic Reformation movements
the whole theocracy 7 Mountains take over every part of American society thing that Palin's church is into. Thankfully they aren't overtly into taking over by physically fighting. unfortunately they are very politically active so while it is unlikely in a legitimate vote for someone like Palin to become President or veep they can get people elected in smaller elections

13. YW :)
not enough people know that folks like Joyner are influencing politicians. they aren't harmless but odd beliefs being spread either. they really do want an american theocracy and I take radical religious clerics with serious followers seriously when they advocate theocracy whatever flavor - xtian, muslim or other - it may have.
