@overseas: I don't understand the nuances (if any) of junior high school level geek-speak such as n/t...but am I wrong in understanding it as a nerdish dismissive?

You know: People work hard at these things and put their selves into such tasks.

Your monosyllabic snark is neither interesting nor speaks well of you i.e., it is a form a online cowardice evinced by judgmental types, stricken by the fear of the risk it takes to do anything of worth and put it out there. You're not fooling anybody. Shame on you.

I didn't at all mean it dismissively. I really like and admire your poetry and essays.

It was beautiful and moving and complex.TMTS would have been more accurate -- too much to say.

I wanted to give it a rec for others to see. I put "//nt" just to indicate that one needn't click my comment, nothing below. I didn't realize it sounded dismissive. I am very sorry.

I guess I should abandon that "//nt" thing from long ago. So sorry, and thank you for pointing out how it feels. I guess that's why others don't use it that much anymore.

Would have been better, wanting to do a quick rec, to say "K&R" above, and then "beautiful" in the larger message box.

The ending was especially well done. I have never seen a flock of hummingbirds in flight. What an image.
