13. I doubt she'd have understood the question

she'd have sat and listened, trying to look as though she did- with a big smile and that bright eyed but vacant look- and then we'd have seen her go into Miss Teen South Carolina mode. She'd have babbled out a rambling, meandering nonsensical answer -sprinkled with the occasional 25 cent words like 'economy' and 'prosperity' and 'cooperation'- which she'd wrap up -after she'd talked for a couple of minutes without actually answering the question or demonstrating any understanding of it- with some rah rah yay America soundbite. Then she'd sit there with that Sarah Palin smile, satisfied with her answer, and confident that she fooled 'em. (I suspect this is the technique she used to get through high school. I've seen lots of other hot chicks do it. If they're good looking enough it sometimes even gets them through college.)
