Steve Malzberg hosts The Steve Malzberg Show on the New York City news/talk station WOR-AM. Thom and Steve tangled up on welfare recipients and rich people; Hartmann took the position that if people can't buy cigarettes or alcohol while on public assistance then rich people ("the lucky sperm club") should be restricted in "vices" like prostitution.

At the 7-minute mark is when Malzberg loses it: "If I'm lucky enough to become a millionaire or a billionaire and my son never has to work a day, that's the American Dream. That's what every parent would strive for and want for their kids." :wtf: Thom responds: "That's the dream of European aristocracy from the 18th century." Then at 8:40 Malzberg accused Hartmann of "go after African-Americans who are billionaires."
