5. This Immelt is just one more rung

in the ladder of industry insiders that Obama's put together. Look at the Wall St. operatives that are making financial policy? We've got foxes guarding EVERY hen house. What about the claim that he'd shun lobbyists? What a joke that's proven to be. Only Obama's jokes are on the order of what Don Rickles does - overt insults against our collective intelligence.
When you stop to think about it, it's intriguing that he went with Elizabeth Warren to head up the new financial oversight organization. Of course, she's only an "advisor" at this point. And he had to know that the GOP-led house was gonna gut the funding to cripple that effort anyway. So, no worry about her tripping up business as usual for his pals on Wall St.. Looked good tho!

You're idea has merit, I think. Blast the poor and unemployed wherever you find them - cardboard shantytowns, lined up at soup kitchens - wherever. This would create new jobs in the armament industry and establish justifiable monies for rebuilding the bridges and streets that are destroyed as collateral damage.
Hand out no-bid contracts to contractors so they can deliver the same sort of useless structures they did in Iraq. At least by making the US a "war zone", there'll be no hesitation from congress to throw tons of money at it! Jobs for all!...... that survive.

7. About the Warren thing

The sad thing about Warren is that I believe over here there was an article which began with a title like 'Will Obama have the stomach to back Warren?' I laughed when I saw that because I think we all know the answer right?

In the workplace the few of us with gonads had a name for his type - compromise and kiss up to opponents all of the time. It was 'ball-less wonders'...
