From the video info:

"Fachtna's mix of Sinead's song from her upcoming album "Home"....Sinead described this song as how she imagimed The Holy Spirit would address the Vatican".

I hope this is relevant enough to be posted here. Certainly the child sex-abuse scandals that have plagued the Catholic church have not been off-limits here and certainly have political connotations.

In my opinion, Sinead O'Connor was probably the first extremely well-known figure to take a public stand against the abuse, and she took at least a decade of hatred because of it.

In the end, she was right.

5. You're welcome!
Judging by the video, it sounds like she's found her voice again. Can't wait to hear the rest of the album!

:hi:

6. Love some Sinead
She spoke truth to power, look what happened. Even SNL smacked her when she DARED to bring the Vaticans criminal behavior to light.

As a cheerful aside, at the Lilith Fair in Atlanta in 2000. Sinead was not on the venue, but was a surprise performing artist. Yeeehaww! I was so pleasantly surprised. Her voice? a thing of beauty.
