5. I retired from Wisconsin and returned home to Texas.

I enjoyed my time in Wisconsin and have a few good friends and co-workers in Wisconsin. I'm union proud. I knew Walker would try crap like this. I spent lots of time and money on Wisconsin political campaigns. One important thing needs to be done in Milwaukee. Counter charley "psycho" sykes and belling. Get some progressive radio going in Milwaukee area. A radio station with AM and Fm capabilities just like WCPT 820AM Chicago or the Mike in Madison. The unions and progressives NEED to get the message out.

There are many of my union brothers that voted for the rethugs. I worked in construction and they probably think that none of what went on so far will affect them. IT WILL, SOONER OR LATER.

Organize, organize and BROADCAST the message.

Good luck, brothers and sisters. I'm pulling for you.

Fight the conservative onslaught on workers' rights. Or, soon Wisconsin will join the "right to work" for less club.

We need more Texans with attitudes like yours, there is so much to be done here.

For Milwaukee, what about low-power FM broadcasting? I think I read something about it being legal now. Maybe have a web of several 50 watt stations in different parts of town broadcasting the same programming, locally produced by progressives.

The media is a big part of the force arrayed against us and low powered stations might be a small way to get out the message under the mainstream radar, which essentially ignores any labor news. We could start building an archipelago of Radio Rebeldes here in America.

Organizing is key to this fight and even though we're far from the front lines, we can still help because what happens in Wisconsin affects all of us. This is America's future they are fighting for.

I live in rural Texas now. conservanazi bu$hit dominates even the bible-thumpin' broadcasts. One AM and one FM station has a "report" on how things are going in Texas government by the locally elected conservanazis. There's lots of poverty here.
Someone needs to figure out how to put up progressive media outlets. The locals here can be hardcore conservanazis. They don't see where voting against their own self interests hurts them. "It's God's way". Now, with the huge budget deficit, the conservanazis want to cripple the school system. All they want is people smart enough to believe in just their brand of conservanazi bu$hit.
Milwaukee has money. It has lots of poverty. The north side is a black ghetto. The near south is Hispanic. In the middle sits an Indian casino. If someone could convince the tribes to help, that may be a way to do it. Low power would work, however, the conservanazis are blasting their bu$hit at the so-called independents. The conservanazis will try anything to keep Blacks and Hispanics from the voting booth because they vote heavily toward Democratic issues.

I was lucky for my job took me all over SE Wisconsin. Fortunately, I got to listen to WCPT most of the day. Other parts of the day, Wisconsin Public Radio was my information source. WMCS is a low power AM in Milwaukee which is basically aimed at the African American community. It has very good programing and I enjoy Eric Von (I hope I got it right). Good talk. Not really a radical progressive station, but level-headed discussion that when it common sense to the issues, it was against the conservanazis. Tell a conservanazi in Milwaukee you listen to WMCS and they will probably call you the "n" word.

The mission is to get the message out. If low power FM works, so be it. Anything to stop the onslaught of the conservanazis destruction of America.
