MSNBC host Cenk Uygur explains how the National Cancer Institute has recognized several possible medical benefits from marijuana use. This could lead to having marijuana reclassified from a Schedule I drug down to a Schedule III drug in which case the government could not crack down on medical marijuana shops.

2. MD house just passed HB 291 and SB 308 March 26th

and is now in the senate. I just got an email today. As far as I can tell, it moves marijuana from a schedule I to a schedule II. It is a good start, I am hoping the senate passes this.
