Okay Mr. President, keep on cutting and caving until there's no longer anything left to cut. The Republicans will not thank you for it or give you credit. Your base will just get more pissed off, but there's a solid following of people who believe you're a righteous dude, a real knight in shining armor - regardless of what you actually do. He really is a horrible negotiator. He has never seen a negotiation he can't give away.

The only time he shows any backbone is when he's trying to get something for people who are already rich. Then, suddenly, he stands his ground. But never, ever when he's negotiating over issues that affect the millions of poor and middle class people in this nation.

If the republicans don't nominate him as their next Republican Nominee for President in their next Primary then they're all damned fools. He's done more to advance their policies and goals than anyone else in their party.
