1. I think Howard Dean has been the best thing the Democrats have had in a long time....
Howard Dean was able to provide a genuine voice for the people....

Bring Back Howard Dean. He has common sense and doesn't care what Republicans say about him, as he knows they'll degrade all Democrats anyway.

18. first of all, Dean (who i voted for) was never an uber liberal.
"would he fix what we all know is wrong with our republican ravaged country? Abolish corporate personhood and dismantle the military industril complex and restore the government to one that serves the people"

no, he wouldn't, without enough support from the senate and house (and the public) to do it.

you're expecting way too much from one person.

14. Not a Democrat, but I'd add Bernie Sanders...
to the list. And it is a VERY short list.

15. Marnie, you are so right.
The argument against challenging Obama is that sitting presidents who are challenged in the primaries do not win in the November elections.

But then, there were lots of similar arguments against Obama. An African-American had never successfully run for president. He was too young and too inexperienced, etc. Yet Obama won.

So, I think we should get a progressive like Dean or Kucinich (there are other possibilities) to challenge Obama. Obama needs to straighten up and fly left.
