Lebanon has been "sanctioned"..( like Gaza, starving them out by not letting anything into the country)
Somalia has seen internal wars, has no govrnment, totally destabilized
Sudan is in civil war
Iran has been heavily sanctioned and twice there was an attempt to get support for an invasion, plus 2 internal revolutions

Sudan and Somalia have been basket cases for years. What is your evidence for 'attempts to get support for an invasion of Iran?' I'm not saying it doesn't exist, but I haven't seen it. The Iranian revolution is an internal thing as far as I can tell - there are a lot of unhappy people there (not enough yet to overthrow the government, though I wouldn't bet on the Islamic regime lasting another 15-20 years).
