1. A progressive votes
for Bush and against Clinton... twice.

Indeed.

:eyes:

More Republican bashing, less blaming Obama for everything please, kk, thanks.

2. I was unaware that Cenk voted for Bush (Senior, I assume)
Still, the old Bush wasn't anywhere near as terrible or as stupid as the young Bush.

I don't really care who he voted for in the past - he's a progressive now. I think he does a lot of good work and I like him.

4. Indeed.
I've noticed he has started to pick up the slack on attacking republicans over a sitting Dem president.

Like I said, more of that please.

5. Your right! Its not like the Obama admin has anything to do with
the Sec. Treasury, SEC, the FBI, etc.

Its the congressional republicans in the senate we hear so much about that are tying the presidents hands on executive competence.

6. I voted for Reagan
Glad I grew up and started critically analyzing my world.

Cenk seems to have done the same thing. Good for him.

3. huh?
I've heard republicans spouting those same talking points for why they're republicans.

When I saw the photo of his dad driving a truck, I thought he was going to say his dad was a union truck driver. That's what MY dad was, and along with that came his and my life-long record of being a democrat.

8. Cenk still has the temperament of a republican
Whiny, "I want everything my way now" etc. I wouldn't be surprised if he switched back to repubs soon, I think he'd fit in well on Fox News.

12. I totally agree with Cenk.
It all starts with some little kid growing up on a farm somewhere in the world getting an education. That's the story of my family growing up in the Midwest of the US. That is the story of Cenk's family growing up in Turkey. Two countries. Two cultures. Two corners of the world. That liberal, public education made all the difference.

Thanks for stating it so well, Cenk.

It isn't about envy. It is about fairness and respect for all.

13. The "American Dream" is a LIE, unless you believe....
Unless you believe that ALMOST everybody will win the lottery.

The "American Dream" is a concept that CANNOT be sustainable.

But, I agree about everybody must have access to a free education (of quality), AND a right to a decent life (and all that entails).
